If you’re thinking about getting a Breville Barista Touch, DO IT! Back in the fall of 2021 with working from home in full force we decided to invest in a quality espresso machine. After reading many reviews, and watching so many videos we settled on the Breville Barista. After even more research I decided on the Breville Barista Touch Automatic Espresso Machine in Black Truffle. Over the past two years, this espresso machine has been my steadfast companion in brewing exceptional coffee, lattes, cappuccinos you name it.

From the moment I unboxed the Barista Touch, I was captivated by its sleek and sophisticated design. The Black Truffle color not only adds a touch of elegance to my kitchen but also complements its modern aesthetics. The stainless steel construction exudes durability, and the touchscreen display is a futuristic touch that blends seamlessly with its overall design. When we first got the machine we made about 15 different shots of expresso trying to perfect the grind and extraction time. Each espresso bean we’ve gotten has needed some minor configuration updates but once you learn what to look for the rest is easy. I suggest you buy a large jar and save the espresso for iced coffee.

The Barista Touch also shines when it comes to milk frothing. The included steam wand is a dream to work with, creating velvety microfoam for lattes and cappuccinos effortlessly. Whether you prefer silky latte art or a creamy cappuccino, the Barista Touch empowers you to be your own barista.

What truly sets the Barista Touch apart is its ability to deliver barista-quality coffee right in the comfort of your home. If I had to mention a negative aspect, it would be the minor issue of chipped paint on the drip tray. While this doesn’t affect the machine’s performance, it is unfortunate that the paint started to chip off, probably from sliding cups in and out of the machine. If I could go back I would definitely get the stainless steel machine, but unfortunately at the time I purchased it they had none in stock.

All in all, our Barista Touch Automatic Espresso Machine was one of the best additions we made to our home. I always look forward to making and enjoying my morning coffee. It has consistently produced outstanding coffee that satisfies even the most discerning palates.
